Jose is a 17 year lawyer who practices primarily in the areas of family law and civil litigation. Jose has successfully tried cases, as the lead attorney, concerning alimony, business evaluations, equitable distribution and child time-sharing matters. His civil litigation practice has also encompassed personal injury cases and commercial/residential real estate disputes. Jose fits right into our litigation team and exhibits the law firm’s “be prepared and win” attitude.
Jose attended the University of Miami where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree and he then graduated from Stetson University College of Law. Since becoming a lawyer, Jose has practiced in Bradenton and has earned a great reputation in the community, with the Court, and with other lawyers.
Jose was raised in Bradenton; his dad is a successful local physician. Jose went to public schools until attending and graduating from Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota, Florida. He presently serves on the St. Joseph’s Catholic School Advisory Board and is the Grand Knight for Council 5604 located at St. Joseph’s (the Knights of Columbus). Jose is married and has three kids. As expected, he is very involved with his family and coach’s youth soccer. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, soccer, tennis, and spending time with his family. Jose is fluent in Spanish and involved in the local Hispanic and Latin communities.
