Catherine Zoller Mackey is a fourth generation Bradenton
native. She was a "Hall of Fame" graduate from Manatee High
School in 1979, Florida State University in 1983 and
University of Miami Law School in 1986. After graduating
from law school, Cathie began her career in Tampa. She has
been married to Peter Mackey since 1988.
Cathie took some time off after giving birth to her first
daughter, Cayla, in 1990. Deciding to then go out on her
own, she rented space from her uncle/architect, Jerry Zoller,
and opened her own law firm. Today the practice of Mackey
Law Group, P.A. has grown to nine attorneys and staff, and
is located in its own building at 1402 3rd Avenue West.
Cathie continues to manage the firm, heading up the real
estate department, and being the mother of a 19-year old
college student and11-year-old triplets, two girls and a
boy. She is also active with Palma Sola Elementary School
and is a past member of the Cotillion Board of Directors.
Cathie’s real estate expertise is far reaching; ranging from
representing developers and financial institutions in
complex real estate transactions to assisting individuals in
the purchase and sale of their residences. In recent years
she has been involved in many of the larger transactions and
subdivision work occurring in eastern Manatee County. Cathie
continues to oversee land acquisitions and subdivisions as
well as personally conduct all aspects of real estate
related transactions and lease work for the firm’s clients.
