The son of a former Air Force pilot and step-son of a Coast Guard Doctor, Kyle has lived in over eight different states; but he now calls Florida his home. Kyle graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He received his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in December of 2010, and was admitted to practice in 2012.
While attending UC Berkeley, Kyle played midfielder on the University’s lacrosse team, and was elected captain for the 2005—2006 season. During law school, Kyle interned in Tampa with the University Community Hospital’s in-house counsel (now Florida Hospital, Tampa Bay Division) and in St. Petersburg with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Bay Pines Office of Regional Counsel.
Kyle Stalnaker is one of the premier litigators in this area of Florida. Kyle’s main area of focus is family law, civil litigation, and personal injury. He is not an office lawyer; Kyle aggressively tries his cases from beginning to end.
During the past few years Kyle has amassed an enviable win-loss record in family law cases; destroying his competition and attaining great results. Take a look at Kyle’s recent blog where he speaks about his latest case which literally changed Florida law as to alimony reduction for our retired fire fighter and marine combat-medic client. Kyle has also attained significant six and seven figure personal injury and wrongful death recoveries for our clients, all without being an obnoxious “billboard attorney”. Kyle is knowledgeable, aggressive and likes to win.
Kyle resides in Bradenton and continues to be actively involved in lacrosse, as a player with Sarasota’s Performance Lacrosse league and as the director of legal affairs for SRQ Lax, Inc., a non-profit organization created to turn Bradenton and Sarasota high school lacrosse club teams into FHSAA varsity teams. Kyle enjoys surfing, snowboarding, weightlifting, and traveling. Professionally, Kyle has also been a member of the Manatee American Inns of Court since its inception in 2014.
